Kathleen Falk has been playing with LTS since 2010.  She is passionate about hanging with her family and friends, being a nurse, travelling, riding her bike, trying new things, eating pizza, helping others, cool beer gardens, outdoor patios and Spotted Cow.

Why she is an LTS Advisory Board Member?

“I have witnessed LTS grow from a small sports league to what it is now and I would love to be a part of LTS’s continued growth and help affect more people and charities in Chicago and beyond. It is easy to advocate and support something I truly believe in and I have always thought that LTS is such an amazing organization that more cities and communities need to model!”

What do you do for a living:  I am a pediatric nurse at Lurie Children’s Hopsital and work in the ambulatory infusion center taking case of a lot of kids with cancer and other chronic illnesses that need to come to the hospital for IV infusions on a regular basis.

Favorite Weekend Activity:  Hanging out with friends, a good brunch (preferably with bottomless mimosas), watching and/or playing sports

Favorite way to stay active:  Playing sports and biking. I love to waterski and play endless amounts of sand volleyball in the Summer.

Celebrity Crush; Professional Athlete Edition:  Ryan Lochte

If you could be a crayon color, what color would you be:  Robin Egg Blue for sure. It was always my favorite Crayola crayon growing up and I’d always hoard that color in art class.

If you could have a super power, what would it be:  Definitely flying.  Traveling would be so much cheaper!

What’s the one thing you can’t live without:  Can’t narrow it down between coffee, cheese (more specifically squeaky cheese curds), and my family

Favorite Quote: “Enjoy your life, the previous moments you have.  Spend each day with some laughter and some thought.  Get your emotions going.  Be enthusiastic everyday to keep your dreams alive in spite of whatever problems you have.  Work hard for your dreams to come true, to become reality” – Jimmy V.
